Shar Music is a large online music store competitive with Amazon and Walmart. Check them out for great selections on on sheet music and violin accessories!
Mijares Violin and Repair, owned by the best luthier! Mr. Mijares is my first choice to go for instrument maintenance and repairs. He also keeps a well stocked inventory of new and used instruments. You can rent a quality violin quarterly, or purchase a great violin from him. We are lucky to have such a great local option and variety of instruments to try before you buy!
Robertson and Sons located in New Mexico has limited selections for purchase, but a great rental program. If you’re on the fence about purchasing, they allow you to rent 6 months and apply 100% of your rental money toward the violin purchase, or continue renting at a the great price.
Zaret and Sons is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Zaret has an impressive inventory of older violins, including high end instruments. Pair this with exceptional customer service it’s worth the shipping cost. My studio has had great success with shipping violins back and forth.
